Workplace Mediation Training with Clare Fowler

This training covers all of the components that a mediator needs to consider in beginning a practice in Workplace Mediation. This training assumes that the viewer has already taken a basic mediation training and has some experience as a mediator. This course covers common conflicts, organizational structure and hierarchy issues, workplace mediation processes, and available resources. 

This course also covers a how-to section on conducting a Climate Assessment. 

Written materials are available, and throughout the course you will create the necessary forms you need to begin your practice.

Clare Fowler

Dr. Clare Fowler is Executive Vice-President and Managing Editor at, as well as a mediator and trainer. Clare received her Master's of Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at the Pepperdine University School of Law and her Doctorate in Organizational Leadership, focused on reducing workplace conflicts, from Pepperdine University School of Education. Clare also coordinated the career development program for The Straus Institute dispute resolution students. In 2023, Clare published Rising Above Office Conflict: The Light-Hearted Guide for the Heavy-Hearted Employee.
